Established in 1983, KJSSE is located in Mumbai Maharashtra. NAAC has accredited it with Grade ‘A’. KJSSE Mumbai is a private college and is one of the constituent institutes of Somaiya Vidyavihar University. NIRF 2024 has ranked it between 201 and 300 under the ‘Engineering’ category. Additionally, the UGC and the Government of Maharashtra have given the ‘autonomous’ status to KJSCE in 2014.
K J Somaiya School of Engineering offers UG, PG, certificate and PhD programmes in the streams of Engineering and Technology. At the UG level, the college offers a BTech programme in over 10 major branches such as Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Computer Engineering, and others. MTech programme offered for PG has 9 specializations including Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Agricultural Science & Technology, etc. KJSSE admits students to BTech and MTech on the basis of scores of national-level entrance exams like JEE Main and GATE.
