Located 13 km from the heart of Bangalore on Mysore Road RV College of Engineering Bangalore is a self-financing engineering college. It is managed by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust and affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). It is accredited by the NBA and approved by AICTE and the Karnataka Government. RVCE has ranked under the 101-150 band in the Engineering category of NIRF Rankings 2025. Further, RVCE is also accredited by NAAC with an ‘A+’ grade.

Established in 1963, RVCE or RVCOE Bangalore is a private college. RVCE has 15 departments that collectively offer more than 35 courses at UG, PG, and doctoral levels. All these courses are AICTE-approved and are offered across two fields, including Engineering & Technology and Science. Popular courses at RVCE Bangalore include BE/ BTech, MTech, and MCA. RVCE Bangalore admissions are based on merit in COMEDK UGET, JEE Mains, and others for admission to all undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The COMEDK UGET last closing rank during the RVCE Bangalore Cut off 2023, ranged between 310 and 18500 for the BTech programmes. The highest package offered during RV College of Engineering placements 2024 stood at INR 92 LPA and INR 35 LPA, respectively. The campus is spread across an area of 16.85 acres in Mysore Road, Bangalore. It has all the basic facilities like cafeteria, gym, dispensary, transportation, smart classrooms, auditorium, conference hall, separate hostels for boys & girls, and more.
