Vishwakarma Institute of Technology was established as a Private institute in Pune, Maharashtra by the Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust in 1983 and is the first Self-Financed Autonomous Engineering College in the state of Maharashtra recognised by the UGC. VIT Pune is permanently affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University and has since received an ‘A++’ grade accreditation from the NAAC and is an ISO 21001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015 certified institute.
